Text-Connect™ is web
based (so no software or hardware to install)
and '2 way' accounts work in conjunction with a dedicated
'Text Number' we allocate only to you.
Messages sent to your 'Text-Number'
are routed to your Text-Connect™ inbox, from
where they may be forwarded to multiple e-mail addresses,
your web server, or other mobile phones. It's fast
too. Messages reach your 'in box' in seconds.
You can read and reply to your text messages from
your 'in box' with just a few clicks. It's simple
and works in a similar way to a web-mail service.
Because Text-Connect™ is web based you can
access your messages at work, home or anywhere
in the world with an Internet connected computer
& web browser.
Sending
text messages
is quick and simple. Just draft a message on screen,
choose the recipient(s) and click send. The message
will arrive with the recipient in seconds. Choose
to send to individuals, groups from your contact list
or 'mail merge' text shots to your large lists of
names and numbers uploaded to the system. For meaningful
communication, you can send messages upto 459 characters,
over twice the length of a standard text message.
Delivery. 'Live' delivery status gives you
the current status of your message and lets you know
as soon as it reaches the phone. In case of dispute
later, our text
message delivery reports give you full details
for each message sent from your account.
Received
text messages to your 'inbox' are automatically
forwarded to e-mail addresses so no need to keep logging
on to check. For 'out of hours' cover, you can choose
to have incoming text messages forwarded
to a mobile phone(s). Software & Web developers
will appreciate text message forwarding to a HTTP
address where they can be custom processed with software,
automatically.
