Use the 'Software Developer' edition of text-connect
to add SMS functionality to your software applications.
Software developers can easily include sms text messaging
functionality in to their applications in most programming
environments with the text-connect HTTP gateway.
Sending via HTTP from within your application is
as simple as generating a HTTP request that contains
the relevant variables and sending them to the text-connect
gateway. This can be in the form of a HTTP POST or
GET.
Enable your application with 2 way text messaging
and receive incoming text messages via optional 'text
numbers'. Your 'text number' can be set-up almost
instantly forward incoming sms text messages to your
application via a URL or email address, specified
by you. From there it's easy to manage and process
incoming messages in your favourite programming environment.
ALL '2-way' packages with a Text-Number include message
forwarding to a http address. You specify the URL
to which incoming messages are forwarded eg.
http://your.url.com/page.ext?source=447...&dest=447...&msg=body&id=id
which lets you process your incoming messages as
you wish.
